Terwyl Marinda ons sending organisasie Worship Getaways bestuur
maak ek geld daarvoor bymekaar deur die verskaffing van draadlose netwerk
dienste en internet toegang wêreldwyd deur CompuMission en Patat.
Teunika is my oudste dogter en Rikus my oudste seun. Albei uit 'n vorige
huwelik met net so 'n oulike vrou, Christa. Teunika is tans in Londen waar
sy onderwys gee en Rikus is werksaam as netwerk bestuurder hier in die
Boland naby my.
Ons reis dikwels deur Afrika om die wild te besigtig en verskillende
kulture beter te leer ken. Op hierdie wyse bedien ons al 'n paar sendingvelde
in Afrika. God seën ons en is werklik goed vir ons. Ons loof Sy wonderlike
Naam en vertel mense graag van die vryheid wat ons deur die Here Jesus Christus
ontvang het.
My geliefkoosde Skrif gedeelte is Ps 16 en die wonderlikste:

Jer 29 vers 11. Skrifgedeeltes wat my lewens uitkyk dramaties gevorm

I am happily married to the most wonderful woman in the world –
she was a maiden Marinda van der Merwe – previously from Streetwork in Cape Town
born and bred on the farm Patatskloof outside Wellington, South Africa.

While Marinda is managing our ministry Worship Getaways I am gathering the money
for it by the supplying of wireless network and internet access services
worldwide through CompuMission and Patat.
My daughter Teunika is my first born followed by Rikus my son.
Both are from a previous marriage with their lovely mother Christa.
Teunika is teaching in London while Rikus is employed as IT Manager near me
in the Boland.
We venture often through Africa to see game learn the different cultures in
the region. Because of this we support already different mission fields in
Africa. God really bless us and we experienced His supporting love.
We worship Him and like to tell people about the freedom that we found in the
Lord Jesus Christ.
My favorite scripture is Psalm 16 and the most wonderful John 13 verse 16.
The most valid for me is Jeremiah 29 verse 11. Scripture which dramatically
influenced my outlook on life are Ephesians 3 from verse 14, Ephesians 4 and
Ephesians 5 verse 2. You may as well read it – especially from the Living Bible.
